Vashon Cemetery

We acknowledge that the Vashon & Pembroke Cemeteries are on the traditional homelands of the sx̌ʷəbabš, the Swiftwater People, who were forcibly removed from the island after the signing of the Medicine Creek Treaty in 1854.

K.C.C.D. #1 is committed to honoring and uplifting the voices, experiences, and histories of the Indigenous people and their ancestors.
